Our client — a well-established, growing manufacturing business with deep roots and ambitious plans — is looking for a Finance Team Lead to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations while helping steer the business forward.
You'll be the steady hand guiding a small finance team, the go-to person for accurate reporting, and a trusted partner to senior leadership when decisions need numbers, clarity, and insight.
This is a hands-on, onsite role based in Baldoyle, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the action and making a visible impact.
Responsibilities
Leading and mentoring a small, experienced finance team
Owning month-end close, management accounts, and financial reporting
Overseeing AP, AR, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
Partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive smarter decisions
Improving processes, controls, and ways of working as the business evolves
Qualifications
A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Previous experience in a senior or team-lead finance role
Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
A practical, down-to-earth leadership style — you're happy to roll up your sleeves
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with non-finance stakeholders
Manufacturing or operational business experience is a strong advantage
