We’re constantly evolving our digital capabilities, including the operation of Musgrave Marketplace online and a number of physical stores in the wholesale space. We have big plans to develop Ireland’s premier wholesale food emporium.As the Head of IT for Wholesale Projects, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Musgrave’s wholesale technology landscape. Your job will be to partner with business stakeholders across wholesale operations to understand their needs, define clear technology roadmaps, and drive the delivery of innovative IT solutions that support business growth.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the Wholesale Teams: Collaborate with Musgrave Wholesale and NI teams to gather insights on technology improvements and innovations, focusing on in-store experiences, including Daybreak.Lead IT Strategy: Work with other IT leaders to define and implement technology strategies that enhance our wholesale operations and create a seamless experience for retailers and consumers.Manage Technology Projects: Lead and oversee a variety of high-impact projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Innovation & Improvements: Continuously identify and implement opportunities for technology improvements, enhancing efficiency and scalability across all wholesale platforms.Collaborate & Influence: Effectively communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consensus on technology solutions. Your ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams will be key to your success.Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets and resources effectively, ensuring value for money and sustainable technology choices.Technology Leadership: Lead evaluations of emerging technologies, set clear IT goals, and guide the broader IT team in achieving those objectives.10+ years of experience across various technology disciplines, with a strong track record of successfully delivering innovative IT projects.Business & Technical Expertise: Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions while managing budgets and ensuring effective ongoing maintenance.Leadership & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead teams and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including third-party vendors and hybrid teams.Agility: Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and adapt to change while keeping projects on track.Strong Analytical Mindset: Expertise in reviewing architecture designs and proactively identifying risks and issues.Experience in retail and/or wholesale environments.Experience in business partnering roles and exposure to various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, Kanban).A passion for customer-facing business solutions and software development is a distinct advantage.Impact & Innovation: Be part of a forward-thinking company with a 140-year legacy and an ambitious future.
