Job Title: Precision Tooling Specialist
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Precision Tooling Specialist to support the efficient, accurate, and safe production of precision cutting tools.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor production and grinding machines, CNC lathes, or dedicated tool making equipment to required standards;
* Set up machines and change tooling to meet productivity and quality targets;
* Inspect parts during production using micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools to ensure tolerances are met;
* Perform routine machine maintenance to prevent downtime and optimize performance;
* Follow work instructions, process sheets, and quality control procedures to document production data and improve processes;
* Assist with tool grinding, finishing, and manual processes to achieve final product specifications;
* Collaborate with team leads and quality personnel to resolve production or quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Education and Qualifications:
* Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field;
* Relevant work experience in tool making, machining, or related industries;
* Familiarity with CNC machines, grinding equipment, and precision measurement tools;
* Strong understanding of quality control procedures and documentation;
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
