Your New Role
As a Senior EHS Advisor, you will be a key figure in driving the company's health, safety, and environmental strategy across multiple high-profile projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure full compliance with EHS regulations.
* Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
* Supporting project teams in identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
* Investigating incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
* Liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
* Promoting a proactive safety culture and mentoring junior EHS staff.
This role offers a mix of site and office-based work, with the opportunity to influence safety standards across a diverse portfolio of projects.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognised qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar EHS role within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
* A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
