Our global team brings innovative methodologies to building and managing hybrid cloud environments, focusing on platform management services and continuously evaluating infrastructure and operations to ensure efficiency and precision.
Within CCPS, the Cloud Software & Solutions (CSS) group designs and develops OpenStack, DNS, OSaaS, and Kubernetes platform solutions with an emphasis on quality, stability, simplification, user experience, scalability, performance, and portability.
We are looking for a Software Leader to join our team and build scalable cloud-native applications and services.
Your Impact
Provide functional leadership and people management for a distributed team of professionals embedded across various Scrum teams.
Participate and guide the team in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews to ensure platform reliability.
Guide and participate in the design, implementation, and evolution of OpenStack-based private cloud solutions and hybrid cloud infrastructure with a focus on high availability and performance.
Guide and participate in designing, deploying, and maintaining the enterprise DNS architecture, including authoritative DNS, recursive DNS, forwarding, delegation, DNSSEC, and DNS service integrations to support hybrid cloud environments.
Guide and participate in automating workflows and operational tasks related to cloud and OS platform services, integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
Guide and participate in developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks for cloud infrastructure services using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years (BS) or 5+ years (MS) of experience in software development or cloud/platform engineering roles.
Proficiency in Python, Java, Go (Golang), or other programming languages used in cloud platforms.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform).
Deep expertise in DNS protocols, architecture, and enterprise DNS technologies such as Infoblox, BIND, or BlueCat, including DNSSEC and hybrid cloud DNS patterns.
Deep understanding of OpenStack internals, Linux kernel, and networking fundamentals.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu) and security hardening practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native security solutions.
Knowledge of security hardening standards (e.g., Security Technical Implementation Guides) across Linux operating systems and cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with enterprise security requirements.
Experience integrating DNS with IPAM, DHCP, cloud networking, and platform automation.
Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices and platform hardening.
Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, or developer platform enablement.
