Role Overview Planet is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Privacy Administrator to support the organisation in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
In this role, you will work closely with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and key stakeholders across the business, supporting data privacy governance, assessments, incident management, and awareness initiatives across the organisation.
What you will do: In this role, you will support Planet's data privacy framework and day-to-day privacy operations, including: Documentation Development and Privacy Support: Assist the Data Protection Officer in the development, review, and update of data privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and local laws.
Provide guidance and support to departments on data privacy matters.
Data Privacy Assessments: Assist teams in conducting Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new projects, systems, or processes.
Incident Management: Respond to and investigate data privacy incidents in accordance with established procedures.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to contain and mitigate the impact of incidents.
Data Subject Requests (DSRs): Process and respond to Data Subject Requests (DSRs) in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure compliance with data subject rights (access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing).
Training and Awareness: Ensure mandatory data protection training is delivered to employees.
Promote data privacy awareness within the organisation.
Vendor Management: Review and assess the data privacy practices of third-party vendors and suppliers.
Ensure that vendors comply with appropriate data protection measures.
Respond to data privacy assessments and questionnaires from third parties.
