This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic decisions, partner cross-functionally, and drive performance across Cairn’s development portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Project & Performance AnalysisEvaluate site-level performance through detailed project appraisals.Participate in monthly Commercial Review Meetings, focusing on financial performance and variance analysis.Strategic Planning & ForecastingSupport budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling in support of the FP&A manager and the Head of Commercial Finance.Deliver insights that inform strategic decisions and risk/opportunity assessments.Cross-Functional Business PartneringPartner with Cost Planning, QS, Construction, Planning, and Business Development teams to align financial insights with operational decisions.Act as a trusted advisor across the enterprise, translating financial data into actionable commercial strategies.Data & Continuous ImprovementDevelop data-driven insights using tools like Power BI and Excel.Lead ad-hoc projects focused on process optimisation and smarter ways of working.The Candidate:Qualified Financial Professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA Ireland) aligned with an Irish Accountancy body with strong commercial finance experience.Proven ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights. Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and influencing skills.Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
