Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative electrical design engineer to join our collaborative and experienced M&E team. This key position requires strong design and coordination skills, with a commitment to delivering efficient, innovative, and sustainable solutions.

Candidates without experience working in an Irish M&E consultancy will not be considered.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the design of electrical systems for medium to large-scale building projects from concept through to handover.
* Oversee the preparation of specifications, drawings, reports, and schedules in compliance with current standards and regulations.
* Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, architectural, and sustainability teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.
* Manage workloads, delegate tasks, and mentor junior and intermediate engineers within the team.
* Attend client, design, and site meetings, providing clear technical guidance throughout all project stages.
* Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and health and safety standards are met across all design outputs.
* Contribute to fee proposals, resource planning, and the delivery of projects within scope and budget.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
* Minimum 6 years experience in electrical building services design within an Irish consultancy.
* Strong working knowledge of current Irish building regulations, IS standards, and CIBSE best practices.
* Proficient in using Revit and electrical design software such as Dialux, Relux, and Amtech.
* Demonstrated experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams and external stakeholders.
* Chartered or actively working toward chartership (Engineers Ireland or equivalent).
* Strong communication and team leadership skills.
