A leading European renewable energy developer is preparing to deliver a major utility-scale Solar Farm located near Athlone, Ireland. With mobilisation planned for February/March 2026.This role will sit client-side and the successful individual will be the developer's key presence on site, overseeing safety, quality and progress throughout the full project lifecycle, and providing weekly reporting and updates to the Project Manager.Key Responsibilities:Act as the full-time client representative on site throughout the 18-month delivery timelineMonitor and enforce health, safety and environmental standards during all construction activitiesOversee and inspect work fronts to ensure compliance with design, quality standards and project specificationsTrack and review construction progress against programme, identifying risks or delays earlyProduce weekly progress reports highlighting status, risks, non-conformances and mitigation actionsProvide clear escalation and communication between the EPC, subcontractors and the client's Project ManagerParticipate in site reviews, walkdowns, readiness assessments and quality inspectionsQualifications & Experience:Experience as a Site Manager, Client Rep or Construction Supervisor on major infrastructure or renewable energy projectsUtility-scale Solar experience preferred; however, candidates from substations, high-voltage T&D, or large-scale renewable construction will also be consideredStrong understanding of site based HSE processes, RAMS, quality standards and report writingAbility to effectively manage contractors while maintaining an impartial client viewExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsContract Details:Start: February/March 2026Duration: 18 monthsLocation:Athlone, Ireland (full-time site presence)This represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager or Client Representative to support the delivery of a landmark Irish Solar project from early mobilisation through to completion and handover.To apply, please submit your CV with references or send directly to
