About the Role
\
The Sr Supply Chain Specialist plays a critical part in ensuring global logistics operations run smoothly. This role involves coordinating logistics activities, communicating with supply chain teams and contract manufacturers, analyzing inventory levels, managing exceptions, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage logistics processes related to contract setup, material control, inventory, and shipping/receiving, supporting business plans.
\
2. Prioritize activities, plan daily tasks, and coordinate the movement of materials, maintaining relationships with contract manufacturing sites and internal stakeholders.
\
3. Implement and improve supply chain policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with GXP and GDP standards.
\
4. Identify and execute logistics initiatives to meet departmental and company targets.
\
5. Analyze systems and processes, develop tools to support operational excellence.
\
6. Manage relationships with external vendors, using KPIs to drive improvements in safety, compliance, quality, service, and cost.
\
7. Assist in developing new technologies and processes for continuous improvement.
\
8. Support ERP system development and business process architecture.
\
9. Supervise and mentor team members, providing training and guidance.
\
10. Maintain documentation and contribute to SOP reviews and updates.
\
11. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, focusing on improving efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
\
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements, reducing costs and increasing productivity.

21. Monitor and manage supply chain spend, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve resource allocation.

22. Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions to complex supply chain challenges.

23. Partner with procurement teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, and risk.
