Aircraft Leasing Senior Financial Accountant

About the Role
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations, compliance and strategic projects across the group. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to guide financial reporting and control efforts, while identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations, management accounts and group financial reports.
* Manage statutory financial statements across multiple entities, including complex consolidations.
* Support financial control functions and ensure alignment with group policies and standards.
* Provide technical accounting guidance on transactions and ensure GAAP compliance.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to meet reporting timelines and resolve issues.
* Foster strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and other service providers.
* Manage debt structures, covenant compliance, and oversee tax planning and compliance.
* Enhance processes by identifying and implementing efficiency improvements.
* Contribute to strategic projects supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business‑related field with a focus on accounting.
* 3‑5 years of accounting experience, ideally combining public and private sectors.
* Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting regulations.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑evolving environment.
