linical Specialist Radiographer for PET/CT
to our hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
Clinical Operations: Carry out daily primary responsibility for the PET/CT service and the efficient use of all allotted resources in the capacity of a team leader.
Take responsibility for the services' caliber, including the technical and customer support components.
Participate in the creation and execution of operational rules, procedures, and guidelines to guarantee efficient resource use and a methodical audit of that use.
Create and manage a training function as needed for qualified employees, trainees, and/or students.
As needed, oversee and evaluate every training session.
Coordinate with the Head of Radiology regarding the staff rotation within the Department to guarantee that there is a sufficient supply of qualified personnel.
When necessary, discuss matters about human resources with the head of radiology.
Ascertain that staff members comprehend and adhere to all hospital regulations and pertinent information regarding PET/CT safety.
Ascertain that staff members are aware of and adhering to all hospital policies including infection control, IV policy, health and safety, etc
Participate in creating service plans; oversee and document their execution.
As per hospital guidelines, establish and maintain precise information systems for clinical data.
Coordinate preventative maintenance programs to ensure that the Head of Radiology has correct records of equipment servicing, maintenance, malfunction, downtime, and performance as needed.
Requirements
Diagnostic radiography, BSc (Hons) or equivalent.
Nuclear medicine postgraduate degree or PET/CT CORU Registration
A management course is optional but preferred.
A postgraduate degree in the modality with at least three years of experience, or a minimum of six years of experience in the chosen modality.
knowledge of PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and radiopharmacy operations.
Capable of administering and cannulating intravenous needles.
