We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
This role plays a critical part in real-time coordination, planning, and execution of operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, thrive under pressure, and be able to manage multiple priorities with precision and urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
Real-time Scheduling & Monitoring: Coordinate and schedule transportation, or service activities across the network in real time to ensure smooth operations and on-time performance.
Exception Management: Monitor ongoing operations through the control tower system, proactively identify disruptions, and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays quickly.
Communication Hub: Act as the central point of contact between departments, suppliers, couriers, and customers to align schedules and priorities.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data dashboards and reports to make informed scheduling decisions and recommend process improvements.
System Management: Maintain and update scheduling tools and systems, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in the scheduling process and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all scheduling activities comply with internal policies, regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in scheduling, planning, or control tower operations (logistics, manufacturing, transportation, or similar industries).
Strong proficiency in scheduling software, ERP systems, or transportation management systems (TMS).
Excellent time management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and coordination abilities.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Flexible to work shifts or extended hours, including weekends or holidays, if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree/Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field desirable but not essential.
Experience with real-time tracking tools, dashboards, or control tower platforms (e.g., GeoOp, Fleetmatics, Xero etc )
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational improvement methodologies.
