We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in real-time coordination, planning, and execution of operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, thrive under pressure, and be able to manage multiple priorities with precision and urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Real-time Scheduling & Monitoring: Coordinate and schedule transportation, or service activities across the network in real time to ensure smooth operations and on-time performance.
* Exception Management: Monitor ongoing operations through the control tower system, proactively identify disruptions, and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays quickly.
* Communication Hub: Act as the central point of contact between departments, suppliers, couriers, and customers to align schedules and priorities.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data dashboards and reports to make informed scheduling decisions and recommend process improvements.
* System Management: Maintain and update scheduling tools and systems, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in the scheduling process and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all scheduling activities comply with internal policies, regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in scheduling, planning, or control tower operations (logistics, manufacturing, transportation, or similar industries).
* Strong proficiency in scheduling software, ERP systems, or transportation management systems (TMS).
* Excellent time management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
* Exceptional communication and coordination abilities.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Flexible to work shifts or extended hours, including weekends or holidays, if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree/Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field desirable but not essential.
* Experience with real-time tracking tools, dashboards, or control tower platforms (e.g., GeoOp, Fleetmatics, Xero etc )
* Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational improvement methodologies.
