IT Staff is currently recruiting Architects with BIM and Revit experience for conservation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects with a major Irish government agency.
This agency manages over 100 state-owned heritage buildings in Dublin, including Dublin Castle, the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks, the Four Courts, the Custom House, and Rathfarnham Castle.
The roles involve managing new works and maintenance at state offices and cultural institutions.
You will be responsible for producing BIM and Revit drawing packages, procuring projects, collaborating with design teams, and managing works on-site.
Some projects include working with specialist craftspeople on historic joinery, plasterwork, and metalwork.
Requirements: - A minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience, including on-site project management.
- Strong design and drawing skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for contract documentation.
- A keen interest in historic structures; conservation experience is highly desirable.
Education & Preferred Experience: - A relevant postgraduate qualification in building conservation and/or significant experience working on protected structures, heritage sites, or public government buildings.
Position Details: - Duration: 3 to 4-year contracts (initially 1 year, with extensions).
- Location: Dublin or Trim, with hybrid options available.
- Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
