About the team
We are looking for a Partnership Sales Executive to join our Dublin office.
Our Partnerships team work with top tech brands such as Microsoft, Meta, Datadog, Replit, Revolut and leading government agencies to partner across our global conferences. Web Summit partners have the opportunity to participate in unique experiences for our attendees, whether it’s an engaging exhibition, a masterclass series, exclusive branding, curated meetup or a high level networking event.
This position is based in our Dublin office. To support our international talent, we offer a comprehensive relocation sign-on bonus for candidates moving from outside of Ireland to ensure a smooth transition as you settle into the city.
What you'll achieve

Develop and own your monthly and quarterly business development plans to achieve your annual revenue target.
Identify and prospect the world’s leading companies to create opportunities for them to elevate their brand and partner at our events.
Form relationships with Fortune 500 executives, scale‑up founders, CIOs, Marketing VPs and events professionals.
Own the discovery and solutioning, considering our partner’s priorities and the products which align with their target audience and goals.
Articulate the value of Web Summit’s extremely diverse and technical audience.
Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Growth team to implement go‑to‑market strategies which win new partnerships.
Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing new and existing partners.
Contribute to the development of Web Summit's global expansion strategy, working as part of a close‑knit team.

Skills, experience and abilities we're looking for

Direct B2B sales experience in relevant industries, ideally with tech or events.
A minimum of 3 or more years of proven success working within a high growth or scale‑up environment.
Current high performer with consistent achievement against targets and KPIs.
Experience within a complex sales environment with multiple channels, partnerships and stakeholders.
Accurate forecasting and pipeline management, using Salesforce or Hubspot as a CRM.
A genuine interest in technology and a growth mindset.

We offer an uncapped commission structure where top performers have the ability to earn between +40% to +100% or more beyond base salary.
