Reed Finance is delighted to be working with a well-known and highly successful company based in the Antrim Area, in the appointment of an experienced Management Accountant.
Our client seeks to recruit a commercially savvy finance professional, with previous experience in management accounts, but also someone who can assist in the development of company systems and practices.
The successful applicant will be offered mentorship (and study support where appropriate), with a clear career progression trajectory in line with business growth.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following daily duties:
* Month end close and management accounts preparation
* Bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, follow up of review points, ad-hoc journal preparation and input, intercompany reconciliations, fixed asset accounting inc., hire purchase accounting, foreign exchange.
* VAT Returns, Balance sheet reconciliations
* Reporting to internal and external stakeholders
* Assisting in audit preparation
* Assist with Budgeting/Forecasting
* Assist with AP/AR duties.
* Various ad-hoc tasks and projects
About you:
* Part OR Fully Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA/Qualified by Experience
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong IT skills, particularly excel.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to learn and develop
* It's desirable that you have experience with Power BI
