* ities:Assisting with preparation and management of marketing plans and bu
* dgets;Supporting strategic business development research and analysis including targeted market research, trends identification and database analysis including leveraging cross-selling opportun
* ities;Collaborating with senior BD department professionals on business development best practice and engaging in relevant internal business development meetings to drive subsequent ac
* tions;Supporting and helping to drive internal and external marketing campaigns with a strong focus on cross-selling and tracking and reporting results to senior members and key stakeho
* lders;Conducting qualification research on leads received as a result of BD activities or campaigns and ensuring that relevant information is passed on to sales professionals in a timely m
* anner;Liaising with marketing representatives across the Maples Group to identify cross-selling initiatives, to share best practice and to ensure that there is consistency and coordination of all business development and marketing ef
* forts;Assisting in the preparation of proposals, marketing presentations and other materials as n
* eeded;Maintaining repository for client pitches and RFP's. Supporting the drafting of pitch proposals/RFPs and presentations for new business opportun
* ities;Executing the coordination of marketing trips and participation at conferences, seminars and e
* vents;Providing general business development administrative support (processing invoices, maintaining trackers, taking minutes, filing, data entry
* etc.);Coordinating overseas marketing trips and participation at conferences, seminars and e
* vents;Assisting with the maintenance of the firm's CRM system including maintaining and updating all relevant target
* lists;Liaising with team members in other offices to ensure that there is consistency and coordination of all business development activitie
* s; andCarrying out any other duties which may from time to time be req
**uired.
Requ**
irementsIn addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the fo
llowing:
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is pr
eferred;
• 3+ years' experience in professional services marketing, sales operations, or related legal or financial services i
ndustry;
• Ardent business acumen with superior data analysis skills to measure and report on business performance results and other strategic initiatives/ lead generating ca
mpaigns;
• Strong experience with CRM systems and superior proficiency in MS applications, including Excel, Word and Pow
erPoint;
• Comfortable following and reinforcing policies and pro
cedures;
• Self-motivated with a tremendous can-do a
ttitude;
• Self-starting with a proactive approach and a supportive team player a
ttitude;
• Possess the Initiative to work independently in a self-directed envi
**ronment.
