BAM UK&I are recruiting a Technical Content Creation Specialist, to be based in the UK or Ireland.
Reporting to the Digital Systems Manager within a matrix structure, the Technical Content Creation Specialist's primary responsibility is the direct authorship of high-quality technical content on behalf of a variety of subject matter experts (SMEs).
This includes drafting and developing standard methods and procedures, secure development requirements, and technology functional processes, as well as producing content that supports a range of digital construction capabilities.
The Technical Content Creation Specialist shall establish clear guidelines for the generation and maintenance of technical documentation, determining what information is produced, and ensuring all materials are accurate, relevant, and current.
Making Possible Collaborate proactively with HR Learning and Development to design, draft and refine high-quality, fit-for-purpose learning materials across a range of technology domains, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with organisational standards.
Lead the structured capture, curation, organisation and ongoing accessibility of a centralised knowledge repository, ensuring all digital and technology best practice documentation within the DPS function is current, comprehensive and easily retrievable for all stakeholders.
Plan, coordinate and facilitate all technical learning and knowledge-sharing events for the DPS function, including authoring supporting materials, managing content delivery, and measuring effectiveness to drive continuous improvement in knowledge transfer.
Lead the process for capturing, structuring, and documenting technical knowledge and best practice within the DPS function.
Oversee the curation, updating, and quality assurance of all technical content and knowledge assets (and associated platforms).
Promote the sharing and accessibility of technical documentation and resources across the DPS and wider business.
Collaborate with communications teams to strategically disseminate technical content internally and externally, including through digital and social media platforms.
Work in partnership with HR Learning and Development to design and deliver scalable, fit-for-purpose technical learning materials, including e-learning modules and reference guides.
Support DPS Management in planning and delivering technical events that enhance team learning and knowledge sharing.
Manage the transition and maintenance of the DPS digital brand, ensuring consistency and clarity in all technical communications.
Ensure all technical content and documentation complies with relevant legislation, industry standards, and BAM policies and procedures.
Foster engagement in technical content creation by cultivating a culture of continuous learning, growth, and development, prioritising performance, inclusion, safety, and wellbeing.
Your team The position will involve a mixture of working from home and working out of any regional office in the UK and Ireland.

What do you bring to the role? At least 3 years' experience in a technical content creation or related role.
Demonstrable experience in designing, managing, and delivering complex technical learning and knowledge events.
Knowledge of the construction technology sector and emerging digital solutions.
Establish and nurture relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts and project teams.
Experience engaging with customers and supply chain partners to capture and communicate technical requirements.
