SENIOR QSMAYO (Hybrid)€100K plus package DOEA leading main contractor require a senior level QS to be based in the Mayo region, with all work in the county. Ideally candidates will have 10 years experience in Irish or UK construction industries in a similar commercial role.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Commercial Director, your key responsibilities may vary depending on the nature and stage of the project being worked on, but can include:Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the clientUndertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project workAssisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studiesPerforming risk, value management and cost controlAdvising on procurement strategyIdentifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risksPreparing and analysing costings for tendersAllocating work to subcontractorsProviding advice on contractual claimsAnalysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reportsValuing completed work and arranging paymentsMaintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current useUnderstanding the implications of health and safety regulations.If interested in further information on the role- apply within or contact Hugh Casey to discuss further.*Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland without Visa sponsorship*
