About the Job
Harvey Norman is a customer-obsessed retailer with stores in Ireland. We are looking for extraordinary people who are passionate about putting our customers first to join our Online Customer Service team in a full-time capacity with weekend and evening support. The role is based at our Head Office in Swords Business Park, Co. Dublin, and reports to the Head of Customer Service.
Your responsibilities include providing high-quality customer service across telephone, email and live chat, responding to customer queries, and supporting the stability and growth of our online channel. You will interact with customers daily and work to enhance their online experience.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality telephone, email and chat service at first point of contact, handling requests and resolving issues to a satisfactory conclusion.
* Follow established best practices and department procedures to satisfy both customers and the business.
* Establish positive relationships with internal and external colleagues, suppliers and customers to deliver customer service excellence.
Profile / Qualifications
* Take personal responsibility for meeting customer needs; be passionate about putting the customer first.
* Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft applications.
* Ability to multi-task across multiple operating systems.
* Preferably 1 year of customer service, retail or hospitality experience.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and active listening.
* Detail-oriented, hardworking, conscientious and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in a data-driven environment.
* Adaptable to change and open to learning new ways to achieve objectives.
* Background in online retail customer service, email support or call handling is advantageous.

Additional Information
* Seasonal fixed-term contract from 1 October 2025 until 30 January 2026.
* Flexibility to work store hours, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* Applicants must be living in Ireland and hold a valid work permit.
