Principal Recruiter - Engineering and Science - Collins McNicholas
We are currently partnering exclusively with an advanced Galway start up as they expand their R&D team with three new permanent hires. As part of this expansion, they are hiring an experienced Senior Electronic Design Engineer to adopt a key design role in technology and product developments.
Responsibilities:
* Design and integrate analogue and digital circuits into medical equipment
* Generate design inputs and outputs such as engineering specifications, schematics and BoM’s
* Create and execute test methods and product verification
* Lead communications with key customers, suppliers and cross-functional project teams to deliver differentiated endoscopic solutions for the market.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years applicable experience
* Experience in analogue and digital electronics, schematic design and laboratory testing is essential
* Experience in circuit simulation, embedded systems, firmware and programmable logic is desirable
* Experience in medical (preferred) or another high-reliability industry is desirable
* Proficient in the use of electronic design and Microsoft Office software
* Excellent organisation, teamwork and communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and motivation to learn
