This is a hands-on, leadership role ideal for a seasoned bar professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience as Head Bar Person.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of bar service, including staffing, stock control, event service, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management: Lead, train, and support the bar team to ensure consistent, high-quality service. Assist with staff scheduling, development, and performance management. Promote a positive team culture focused on professionalism, collaboration, and attention to detail. Bar Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of all bar areas on the estate, including at events and weddings. Ensure proper stock levels, inventory control, and supplier coordination. Maintain all bar areas in line with health & safety and hygiene standards. Implement and uphold brand standards for drink quality, presentation, and service. Guest Experience: Deliver a warm, engaging, and memorable guest experience. Manage and respond to guest feedback in a timely and professional manner. Ensure the bar team delivers consistently high levels of guest interaction and product knowledge. Event Coordination: Manage bar operations for events, weddings, and private functions in coordination with the Events and F&B teams. Plan and oversee staffing, setup, service, and breakdown for all event bar operations. Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience as Head Bar Person in a high-end hospitality environment. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a team. Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, and premium beverage service. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Own reliable transport is essential - our location is not serviced by public transport. Flexibility to work evenings & weekends.
