We are currently recruiting for a part-time Catering Assistant to join our team at Signacare New Ross on a temporary contract for 6 months, with the possibility of it extending.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
* Food preparation tasks
* Maintaining cleanliness of food preparation areas
* Food serving and basic cleaning tasks
* Organising food preparation areas and adhering to all food safety procedures
* Ensuring facilities are replenished, and tidy as you go throughout service
* Serving residents in a timely and professional fashion
* Carrying out any additional duties outside of general duties as required
* Following the agreed HACCP standards and procedures
* Completion of daily records (cleaning/food safety)
Requirements
:
* Previous catering experience in a nursing home setting or similar role an advantage
* Strong customer service skills, awareness & sensitivity towards residents
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Candidate must be available for flexible working hours
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
* Ability to multitask in a fast pace working environment
