We are currently recruiting skilled and experienced electricians to join our team in Galway.
Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive inspections of electrical panels in line with client and regulatory requirements.
Test, diagnose, and rectify faults on control panels, MCCs, and associated instrumentation.
Undertake minor electrical upgrades and corrective works as required.
Ensure all tasks are completed in strict accordance with health & safety legislation, RAMS, and company procedures.
Produce accurate inspection reports, test results, and site documentation following each visit.
Coordinate works with site personnel, client representatives, and internal project teams.
Assist with commissioning, shutdowns, and decommissioning activities when necessary.
Ensure tools, testing equipment, and PPE are maintained and compliant.
Requirements:
Qualified Electrician with current Safe Electric registration.
At least 3 years' experience in an industrial, utilities, or process-driven environment.
Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and panel layouts.
Full, clean driving licence with flexibility to travel to sites nationwide.
Strong communication skills and the ability to complete technical reports accurately.
Capable of working autonomously while also contributing effectively within a team.
Experience & Certifications:
Previous experience within water or wastewater treatment facilities.
Confined Space, Manual Handling, and Safe Pass certifications.
Knowledge of ATEX environments and intrinsically safe equipment.
Exposure to SCADA systems, telemetry, or process control systems.
CSCS card or equivalent safety certification.

Pay: €42,455.19-€57,146.38 per year
