Group Technical / Design Director | c.€200k, Bonus & Executive BenefitsDublin & HybridUnique opportunity with leading Tier 1 main contractor with operations in Ireland, the UK, and Europe, to oversee the total design function within the group.This is a senior leadership role with Board representation, integrated into the growth trajectory & succession plan, open to candidates from various sectors & not restricted to construction.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the total design function of the company, ensuring the highest standards of design quality, innovation, and efficiency.Collaborate with department heads in Preconstruction, Design, Digital Construction, Planning, MEP, Engineering, and Commercial to establish and execute design strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.Provide leadership and guidance to the design team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and digital tools to enhance design processes and project delivery.Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design phase.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and construction, and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation.Work closely with the Board of Directors, providing insights and strategic recommendations to drive the company's growth and success.The primary focus of this role is to drive innovation, deliver safe, and efficient project success across various sectors, including datacenters, pharmaceuticals, biomedical, life sciences, and traditional construction.Search & contact BarryKelly on LinkedIn barry.kelly@icds.ie 086-232-5706 for a confidential discussion.
