IT Security Officer role at FBD Consulting, LLC
This is a full-time, permanent role based in FBD House, Bluebell. The role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Responsibilities
* Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
* Identify and define system security requirements
* Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs
* Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
* Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
* Be an active participant in Security Incident management, both participating and chairing meetings to address actual and potential issues
* Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
* Assist with Security awareness, including giving training, developing material and presenting at town halls and to senior management
* Reporting to senior management, risk control registers, external and internal audits
Qualifications
* CISSP or CISM certification and other security qualifications
* Qualifications in Azure/O365 and any other security-related qualifications
Experience
* Minimum 5+ years work experience
* Proven work experience as a Security Engineer or Information Security Architect
* Detailed Azure/O365 security knowledge/qualifications/operational practice
* Experience with email security tools, data classification implementations along with DLP technology
* Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, SOA) and related network/web protocols
* Experience in building and maintaining security systems
* Good technical knowledge of database and operating system security
* Experience of scripting in a Windows environment is an advantage
* Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
* Knowledge of PCI requirements and/or EIOPA Regulations, DORA regulations
* Experience working in a regulated company
* Familiarity with environments using 3rd party suppliers to host/manage infrastructure
* Knowledge of security frameworks e.g. ISO27001, Cobit
Competencies

* Good negotiation skills, self-motivated, results-focused, ability to drive results while being a team player
* People management ability and ability to present to C-suite
Note: This role sits within the Manager/Specialist pay grade in the IT department.
