We support our community through events, learning, thought leadership and collaboration, helping organisations and professionals advance the effective and responsible use of analytics.The RoleWe are seeking an Marketing & Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of high-quality industry events while driving integrated marketing activity that supports the Institute's growth, visibility and member engagement. This is a hands-on role combining strategic planning, operational delivery and data-driven marketing execution.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning and StrategyPlan and deliver a calendar of in-person, virtual and hybrid events aligned with the Analytics Institute's strategic objectives.Research industry trends and member needs to shape relevant, engaging event content and formats.Develop detailed event plans, timelines, budgets and delivery schedules.Event Execution and DeliveryManage all event logistics including venues, suppliers, AV, registration systems, communications and on-the-day delivery.Act as lead coordinator during live events, ensuring a high-quality experience for attendees, speakers and partners.Oversee post-event follow-up, evaluation and reporting.Marketing and PromotionDevelop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to promote events, membership and Institute initiatives.Manage marketing activity across email, social media and website channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging.Collaborate with designers to produce high-quality promotional materials and digital content.Use analytics to track campaign performance, optimise activity and report on outcomes.Stakeholder and Partner ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with speakers, sponsors, partners and vendors.Manage sponsor engagement and delivery of agreed benefits.Act as the main point of contact for event-related and promotional enquiries.Budget Management and ReportingDevelop and manage event and marketing budgets, ensuring effective cost control and value for money.Negotiate supplier contracts and sponsorship agreements.Provide clear financial and performance reporting to the senior team.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in event planning and management, with marketing responsibilities.Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with using event management platforms, CRM systems and common design tools (e.g. Canva, InDesign, Adobe Pro).Good understanding of digital marketing tools, channels and performance measurement.Experience managing budgets and producing financial reports.Personal AttributesHighly organised, detail-oriented and proactive.Creative and innovative, with a strong eye for quality and presentation.Confident problem-solver who performs well under pressure.Collaborative team player with a professional and positive approach.Working ArrangementsPrimarily remote, with in-person attendance required for events and meetings.Occasional travel for site visits, setup and event deliveryFull-time role, with flexibility required during peak event periods.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €45,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearWork Location: Hybrid remote in Dublin, CO.
