On behalf of our client based in Shannon, we are currently sourcing a Projects Manager to manage and deliver successful outcomes in a diverse portfolio of capital improvement projects and operational projects. The job holder will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining a centralized data room for storing and accessing key engineering drawings, surveys, and other technical documentation.
Main Responsibilities
* Plan and manage Opex and selected Capex projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, operational efficiency, and passenger experience
* Coordinate project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
* Establish and maintain a centralized digital data room to store and manage key engineering documentation such as drawings, surveys, reports, and project records
* Implement systems and processes for efficient data retrieval and ensure compliance with data security
* Adhere to public procurement guidelines, ensuring compliance and competitive procedures are followed
* Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory audits and inspections
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* A recognized qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field to bachelor's degree level
* Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a team leadership or managerial role
* Knowledge of aviation and airport environment would be an advantage
* Must have experience of project management
* Skilled user of engineering software, project management tools (AutoCAD etc), MS Office, and BIM System
* Excellent leadership and communication and organizational skills
* Possess a high level of drive and energy and the ability to make things happen
