As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for weekly payrolls. This involves ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue (PAYE Modernisation) requirements.
This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple payrolls and deadlines in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing for weekly payrolls
* Ensure compliance with all Irish payroll legislation and Revenue processes
* Prepare payroll reports and issue payslips for staff
* Submit payroll returns to Revenue via ROS
* Respond to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally
* Support payroll audits and inspections as needed
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year experience in a payroll role, preferably within the construction or engineering sector
* IPASS qualification (or in progress) is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue processes
* Proficient in payroll software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple payrolls and deadlines in a busy environment
