Job Title: Category Manager
We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing global and regional commodities, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing strategies to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage global and regional commodities, including supplier qualification and quality assurance.
* Identify and engage with internal stakeholders to capture commodity requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
* Develop and execute detailed commodity strategies, including assessments of opportunity, sourcing levers, and project timelines.
* Accountable for execution of sourcing projects, including RFx, continuous improvement, and contract lifecycle management.
* Responsible for delivering commodity productivity through price, value analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
* 1-5 years procurement project management experience in the area of procurement agreements, efficiencies, contract transformation, or similar.
* Demonstrate competence in negotiating skills and assessing vendors.
* Candidate must have demonstrated experience coordinating, facilitating discussions, consultation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Professional communication; both verbal and written required.
