Dalata Hotel Group - Group HR Generalist
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this role provides core HR support to Dalata’s Central Office team and serves as a main point of contact for the Group's senior stakeholders. The role offers exposure to strategic Group initiatives and corporate-level communication while maintaining strong operational depth. It requires a high level of internal stakeholder engagement, a solid understanding of Group priorities, and a desire to play a key role in a busy corporate office.
Responsibilities
* Recruitment and Selection: Manage recruitment activity for Central Office; responsible for onboarding and induction process
* Learning, Development and Talent: Drive the development and training culture for Dalata’s Central Office; conduct training needs analysis; coordinate a varied calendar of training and development short courses; coordinate Central Office development programmes
* Employee Engagement: Create and implement the engagement plan for Central Office; manage the annual employee engagement survey process; plan and lead Central Office town hall meetings
* Business Partnering / Employee Relations: Involvement in end-to-end employee relations processes; build relationships with key stakeholders to understand team needs and influence
* Compliance / Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all eligibility requirements (e.g. visas, permits, etc)
* HR Operations: Primary owner of Alkimii system for Central Office, maintaining all employee HR records; ensure Alkimii rostering and holiday balances are up to date; manage HR administration and respond to requests for information; manage monthly payroll for Central Office; act as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries; maintain policy standards; manage Zendesk for Central Office and maintain the policy library; recommend and implement HR systems and tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy
* Compensation & Benefits: Evaluate current compensation structures, recommend improvements, ensure competitive and equitable practices; provide support for annual bonus cycle and salary reviews; coordinate staff rewards
* Project Work / Other: Driving charity engagement and other DEI initiatives as directed by the Group Social Impact Manager; supporting organisational design and change processes; office management and logistics; event planning
