Project Manager - Cork
An established and highly regarded construction contractor is seeking an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to join their growing team in Cork. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, where you will take full ownership of project delivery from start to finish.
This is a hands‑on position where you will play a central role in delivering high‑quality construction projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

You will be trusted to lead on‑site delivery, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure seamless coordination between all stakeholders involved in the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for the management, coordination, and execution of project scope from inception through to completion
Drive delivery against key objectives including safety (EHS), programme, cost, quality, design, and technical performance
Review, coordinate, and manage construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Plan and allocate labour, plant, and materials efficiently across all phases of the build
Ensure procurement of materials and equipment is aligned with programme requirements
Maintain strong commercial awareness and support cost control throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee quality assurance and ensure all project documentation is maintained to a high standard
Prepare regular progress reports using project management software
Work closely with senior management to monitor and adjust programmes to meet key milestones
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and BC(A)R requirements
Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and all key project stakeholders
Requirements
Third‑level qualification in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Project Manager role within construction
Engineering background is highly desirable
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
Proven ability to manage teams and deliver projects successfully from start to finish
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage risk, programme, and value engineering decisions
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
Highly organised with strong time management and multitasking ability
Comfortable using modern construction software and systems
