Leadership Opportunity for Experienced Nurse
This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager, or Assistant Director of Nursing to take on a key leadership role. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead by example and provide care to residents, communicate with families, manage staff, monitor performance, develop policies, and deliver training.
* The ideal candidate will have 3 years post-registration experience in a nursing home environment within the last 6 years.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
* Thorough knowledge of Health Act 2007 regulations and HIQA standards is required.
* Computer skills are necessary for administrative efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake the Person-in-Charge role in the absence of the Director of Nursing, ensuring adherence to Health Act 2007 regulations and HIQA standards.
* Liaise with senior managers to maintain high standards in housekeeping, food safety, quality, choice, maintenance, and administration efficiency.
* Coordinate quality and safety systems, including clinical risk management and resident involvement.
Requirements:
* Post- registration experience in a nursing home environment within the last 6 years.
* Good people skills.
* Knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
* Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills.
* Computer Skills.
