Responsibilities Lead the commercial management and cost control of large-scale projects from inception through to completion.
Prepare detailed cost plans, tender documentation, and bills of quantities.
Manage procurement processes and provide strategic input on subcontractor selection and contract negotiations.
Oversee interim valuations, variations, and final accounts with accuracy and commercial insight.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and design teams on commercial matters.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members, fostering professional development.
Ensure risk management and cost reporting adhere to the highest standards.
Requirements Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
710 years experience within a consultancy or client-side QS role, managing diverse and complex projects.
Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts, procurement routes, and commercial best practices.
Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
Proficiency with industry-standard software and MS Office applications.
Chartered status with SCSI or RICS preferred, or actively working towards chartership.
Highly organised with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
Package €85,000 - €100,000 DOE.
