We are looking for a visionary and high-impact Trading Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the LSports Trading Services function. This is a rare opportunity to partner with the Trading Director in architecting the strategy, organisational culture, and growth trajectories of a new function in a fast-growing tech company. We are seeking an exceptional blend of a strategic thinker, who can assist with shaping our Managed Trading organisational and operational strategy, and a proven leader to hire, develop and manage a team of Trading specialists.
What you’ll do
Establish the Team: Partner with the Trading Director to develop the People strategy for Trading before recruiting, onboarding and training the new LSports Trading Services team.
Build the Products: Work closely with Product Managers and LTS Clients to define roadmaps for market leading in-house tooling.
Nurture Performance: Directly manage senior members of the Trading team and build a high-performance culture.
Manage Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the Trading team while making and communicating quick decisions in real‑time. This will include working across evenings & weekends, in line with sporting calendars.
Build & Maintain Client Relationships: Establish and build relationships with LTS clients from the onboarding phase onwards, ensuring their priorities are embedded into operations.
Reporting Design: Design and deliver key risk reporting (dashboards and reports) to leadership, translating complex trading data into strategic insights.
Requirements
Leadership experience in an operational environment, with strong preference for those with experience in the sports betting sector.
Proven ability to manage and lead an operational team in a high‑stakes, fast‑paced setting.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration across internal business units.
Strong project and program management capabilities to drive cross‑functional risk initiatives.
Based in Dublin, Ireland
Bonus Points if you have
Experience in scaling an operational team, or building one from the ground up.
Established knowledge using and deploying AI or Machine learning in operational environments.
