Job Description Due to growing demand for our consultancy services, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Director to lead and oversee our digital projects with a specific client in Europe.
This role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a collaborative environment for project teams.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, experience engaging with client stakeholders and the ability to work independently are a must.
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior leadership and external partners to allow for the delivery of complex digital projects.
Key Responsibilities Define and drive digital project strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and clients' strategic objectives Lead the planning, execution and delivery of digital projects, including platform designs and business intelligence development Manage cross-functional teams, providing guidance and ensuring effective collaboration among stakeholders Act as a client side advisor and serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations and implementing best practice to deliver outcomes for our clients Develop and oversee project budgets, timelines and resource management Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure success of project delivery Ensure all digital deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time Evaluate project outcomes and processes, implementing improvements for future initiatives Qualifications Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience Minimum of 10+ years of experience in delivering complex digital projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Bachelor's degree in STEM related subjects, e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science Should have experience in the construction industry with a solid understanding of technical areas such as procurement, design, construction, and handover Hands-on experience in business intelligence, business analysis, digital strategy and change management Proficient in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment Desirable Skills and Accreditations Microsoft certifications (e.g. Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer) Previously or currently hold local security clearances to work with defence organisations (e.g. Garda Vetting in Ireland, Personal Security Clearance in Spain, VS-NfD/VS-Vertraulich/Geheim/Streng Geheim in Germany) Additional Information Our colleagues share our vision and mission.
