KONE has an excellent opportunity for a
Lift Tester
to join our New Equipment and Modernisation team on a full-time basis. This role covers
Dublin and Leinster region
,
with occasional travel to other areas as required.
Key accountabilities:
* Test lift units in accordance with the relevant test documents and KONE standard interpretation of EN81, Lift Directive and Essential Health & Safety Requirements
* Test lifts within timescales set
* Commission equipment following agreed specifications and commissioning instructions
* Conduct technical assessments, identify faults, and record abnormalities for corrective action
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
* Carry out final inspection and sign the Final inspection document
* Liaise with relevant site personnel to ascertain state of lift
* Manage on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day testing and commissioning activities with a continuous coordination with Supervisor
* Participate in meetings and workgroups related to quality and technical matters
* Ensure lift well security (safe for other trades and public etc) and safety of all persons involved in the installation activities during commissioning and testing of the lift
* Report lift condition and progress to the Supervisor responsible for site activities
Qualifications and previous experience:
* NVQ4 in Lift engineering or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience as a Lift Tester is desirable
* Good computer literacy
* Good written and spoken English
* Clean Irish driving licence
