Multiple positions for Water Process specialists at all levels
Due to significant growth in our Water Business in Ireland and internationally, we are recruiting for several positions to join our Water Process team. These roles support major projects primarily internationally, as well as in Ireland.
We are looking for water process specialists with experience in water and/or wastewater processes, ranging from junior to senior levels, with 3-15 years of experience for junior to mid-career applicants, and 15+ years for senior/associate levels.
Ideal candidates are those seeking to advance their careers and gain valuable experience within an established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, taking on responsibilities that contribute significantly to project delivery.
Senior roles will involve leading project delivery, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior engineers. More junior roles will support water and wastewater design projects. Experience in water reuse and water efficiency technologies is an advantage.
These are permanent positions offering long-term and international opportunities. Our digital and cloud-based systems allow for flexible working from any of our Irish offices.
Educational Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (Level 8 Irish NFQ) is required. A Master's degree is beneficial but not essential.
Skills Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate:
* Ability to work effectively within a team and with stakeholders;
* Experience in design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning;
* Ability to meet deadlines and client targets;
* Membership in Engineers Ireland or equivalent, with a goal of achieving chartered status;
* Strong analytical skills for developing innovative and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing detailed design reports, calculations, and specifications;
* Conducting technical surveys and lifecycle analyses;
* Liaising with statutory agencies and stakeholders;
* Developing design solutions complying with standards and client needs;
* Assessing hazards and producing risk assessments;
* Producing calculations, drawings, and cost estimates using specialized software;
* Providing technical advice to clients;
* Monitoring project progress and reporting;
* Presenting reports to clients;
* Supporting analysis, design, and modeling tasks;
* Assisting in preparing specifications and proposals;
* Ensuring quality assurance of data and records.
Required Skills
Strong skills in project management, client requirements, estimation, options analysis, and software for water and wastewater design are essential. Knowledge of regulations, health & safety, and construction documentation is also important.
