Activ8 Solar Energies are actively seeking Solar PV Installers or Roofers to join our Installations team and be based out of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary, bonus, pension, healthcare and additional benefits.

The Opportunity
As a Solar PV Installer you will be responsible for the installation of our Solar PV Systems on residential buildings and ground-mounted systems. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.
Responsibilities Include
* Install Solar Panels on residential homes to the highest of standards.
* Ensure deadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects.
* Engage with our customers and provide information and advice on work being undertaken.
* Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
* Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Roofer or have previous experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing.
* Previous solar experience is desirable.
* Must live within a commutable distance of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
* Must have a full Clean Driver's License.
* Previous experience working at heights with the use of a harness.
* The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and control Health and Safety aspects on site.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills along with a positive attitude for dealing with customers.

Schedule
Monday to Friday – Typically 1 Installation per day.
