Job Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor, you play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of residential projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work on various aspects of quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets and cost plans, preparing and negotiating bills of quantities, tenders, and contracts.
* Manage and monitor sub-contractor pricing and variations, reviewing and approving sub-contractor claims and invoices.
* Provide cost advice and reports throughout the project lifecycle, overseeing the work of junior QSs (if applicable) and providing mentorship.
Requirements
* Senior Level: Minimum 7 years' experience working as a Project QS for a house builder or main contractor. Proven track record of successfully delivering residential projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
* Experience using relevant Quantity Surveying software is highly desirable.
* Intermediate Level: 2-4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role or similar environment. A strong understanding of construction principles and cost management practices.

Location
This role is ideally suited for someone based within an easy commute of Louth and Kildare/Meath areas, as frequent site visits will be required.
