About The Role
As the Meetings & Events Operations Manager, you will manage all aspects of meetings and event operations. You’ll work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Director of Sales to deliver high-quality events and exceed revenue goals. At Radisson Blu Sligo, we pride ourselves on flawless execution, and your leadership will ensure that every event runs seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate the daily Meetings & Events Operations
* Collaborate with the sales and reservations teams to drive bookings and maximise revenue
* Lead and motivate a dedicated Meetings & Events Operations team to deliver exceptional service
* Ensure meeting and function spaces are prepared to the highest standards
* Supervise food & beverage service during events, maintaining brand quality
* Proactively handle guest feedback and implement improvements
* Develop strategies with the Director of Sales to grow event revenue
* Conduct regular audits to maintain operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Meetings & Events Operations role within a 4-star+ hotel or venue
* Proven leadership and people management skills
* Track record of success in event sales and operations
* Excellent problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* In-depth knowledge of event setups, F&B standards, and operations
Desirable Qualifications
* Formal leadership qualification or industry accolades
* Previous experience with a recognised hospitality brand like Radisson Blu Sligo
