Gastroenterologist I am delighted to be partnering with a major Model 4 Hospital in Ireland to appoint a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
The successful candidate will join a busy, Consultant led Gastroenterology and General Medicine department.
As part of one of Ireland's Cancer Centre Hospitals, Gastroenterology work as part of an MDT to ensure patients diagnosed with Gastroenterology Cancer receive appropriate care.
Other services include: Bowel Screening and a Luminal Gastroenterology service.
Other Duties: Provide a complete multidisciplinary gastroenterology and general physician service alongside the existing Gastroenterology Consultants.
Manage Endoscopy waiting lists and outpatient lists.
Requirements: Specialist IMC registration in BOTH Gastroenterology AND General (Internal) Medicine or in the process of registering with IMC.
or Equivalent EU/EEA or GMC Specialist Registration and Relevant qualifications.
Minimum 3 years' relevant Consultant level experience.
Excellent English language and communication skills.
Permission to live and work in Ireland as the urgency of this role will prevent the processing of Work Permits / Visas.
