We are on the search for a Senior Oracle Developer to their teambased in Athlone.
This opportunity is for a 6 month daily rate contract.
Hybrid working, with 2 days required on-sitein Athlone per week.
Role Responsibilities: Facilitating the achievement of goals established for the projects to which assigned Assisting with database design and implementation Development and maintenance of package code / stored procedures on an ongoing basis to support development teams across theorganisation Troubleshooting and resolving database problems, including database tuning Determination of any shortcomings of database system and recommending improvements Advising developers on best practice and optimal approach in the use of PL/SQL Provision of support for data analysis and data-driven decision making Completing assigned tasks related to phases of development lifecycle of enterprise applications within given scope and timeframe requirements Developing customised reports Mentoring and facilitating skills transfer to otherstaff Role Requirements: Advanced PL/SQL with 7 years experience 7 years experience in the Oracle development toolset 7 Years Oracle Forms and Reports Experience in the development and maintenance of PL/SQL packages making full use of the latest features of PL/SQL, with specific emphasis on advanced PL/SQL Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Oracle Forms/Reports, including the creation/modification of forms and also the management of forms server configuration files and the installation of forms Demonstrate knowledge of Linux & Windows Operating Systems including batch scripting Demonstrate knowledge with SQL Developer Demonstrate experience in skills transfer in relation to Oracle Forms, Reports and PL/SQL Candidatesmust be eligible to work in Irelandwithout any restrictions.
