We're seeking an experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure a smooth, professional service across all shifts. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills, as well as a hands-on approach and deep understanding of restaurant flow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate all front-of-house service operations during shifts.
* Lead by example in maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
* Manage daily staff briefings, floor plans, and section allocations.
* Support, motivate, and train team members to uphold Hooked's standards of service and professionalism.
* Liaise with kitchen management to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house.
* Handle customer feedback with professionalism and discretion.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
* Manage bookings, walk-ins, and seating efficiency to maximise turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
* Oversee till systems, end-of-day cash-up, and reporting.
* Monitor stock levels of key service items (menus, cutlery, condiments, uniforms, etc.).
* Maintain floor appearance, cleanliness, and organisation throughout service.
* Collaborate with management on staff rotas, performance reviews, and training schedules.
* Assist with the coordination of events, private bookings, and seasonal promotions.
* Ensure consistent communication between all departments and management.
* Support onboarding of new staff and ongoing service training.
* Uphold Hooked's brand values, presentation standards, and customer-first approach.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a busy restaurant.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* A proactive, professional, and positive attitude.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
