This exciting role focuses on growing our corporate room nights and event bookings, nurturing long term B2B relationships, and supporting key marketing initiatives in partnership with the Axiom Hospitality Group.You'll act as a key ambassador for Dublin One and The Big Tree Pub, targeting corporate clients, agencies, and local businesses to drive sales across rooms, meetings, and unique event spaces like Botanical Restaurant, The Terrace.Location: On Site - Dublin One HotelContract: PermanentHours: Full-Time, 40 hours per weekBenefitsHotel discounts across all Axiom Hospitality hotels - colleague rates and up to 50% discount on F&B;Yearly complimentary Axiom Xcape stayover after one year of service;A growing team with great training, progression, and promotion opportunities;Rewards for referring a friend: referral bonus for recommending a new team member;Free meals while on shift;Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;Be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional guest service;Length of service awards, ranging from 1 year to 3, 5, 10 and 20-year rewards and moreResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentIdentify, target, and secure new corporate room night business in the Dublin region.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts through regular engagement.Conduct face-to-face meetings, client visits, and site inspections to convert leads.Lead the negotiation and contracting process for annual corporate rates.Work closely with the Axiom Group Sales Team on joint sales initiatives and cross-property opportunities.Maintain accurate CRM records and generate regular performance reports.Build relationships with local non accommodation event venues and provide accommodation solutions (Wedding venues, stadiums, concert halls, theatres, conference centres)Drive a sales culture within the hotel ensuring all team members can identify sales leads and opportunities.Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and client hospitality functions.Event Sales & CoordinationProactively sell event spaces including Botanical Restaurant, The Terrace, and The Big Tree Pub to corporate and private clients.Respond to event enquiries and manage the booking process from initial brief to final details.Create detailed function sheets and collaborate with the operations team to ensure flawless delivery.Attend weekly event meetings and act as the key point of contact for event clients.QualificationsTo successfully perform in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:2+ years' experience in hotel sales, hospitality business development, or a similar client-facing role.Strong knowledge of the Dublin corporate and events landscape.Experience with CRM systems and working towards sales targets/KPIs.Background in group events or marketing is a strong advantage.Strong knowledge of the market and what business lies within our competitorsQualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or Business preferred.Key SkillsConfident communicator and persuasive negotiatorSelf-motivated with strong time management skillsExcellent organisational and administrative abilityStrong presentation and networking abilitiesYou must have the right to work in the Ireland to be eligible for this role.
