Business Development & Marketing Officer
Job Location:
Carlow District Credit Union Limited, Credit Union House, Askea, Carlow or such other location within the common bond including offices in Mayo/Doonane and Rathvilly as may be determined from time to time.

Job Role:
Full time permanent contract which will involve work outside of normal business hours and at weekends on an ad hoc basis.
Job Overview:
Marketing Strategy
Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans aligned with the overall credit union strategy across all marketing and advertising channels.
Work will all departments to help promote key products and services.
Develop and build relationships with key stakeholders in the marketing strategy.
Digital Marketing
Develop, Monitor & Maintain a digital marketing and social media presence across all relevant platforms.
Plan & execute digital marketing campaigns.
Monitor and Analyse effectiveness of digital marketing content.
Provide marketing analytics.
Develop and maintain website content.
Event and Community Management
Plan and organise events that drive new business and build brand awareness.
Plan and organise product launches and local marketing campaigns.
Lead the engagement with external design agencies to produce effective marketing collateral.
Initiate, build and manage relationships with external organisations such as schools, community groups and employers within the common bond to support business development and provide support for community initiatives.
Market Research
Conduct primary and secondary market research that supports new product and target market development.
Key Qualifications, Skills and Experience
A level 7 NFQ marketing qualification or higher including digital marketing
Knowledge in day-to-day management of social media accounts and websites
Ability to develop effective marketing content that supports overall brand identity
Possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Possess the ability to work on own initiative and be target focused and driven
Understand the distinctive credit union ethos and business model
Demonstrable record of achievement in delivering all of the above or high potential in delivering same.
