* The post holder will be responsible for managing the delivery of Social Inclusion Services which includes Homeless, Addiction, Traveller, Roma, Migrant Health and LGBTQ+ services across Louth Meath in line with statutory requirements, resource allocation and service plan targets.
* Working with the General Manager or another nominated officer the Social Inclusion Manager's play a pivotal role within the local Community Healthcare Organisational structure.
* The Social Inclusion Manager is responsible for supporting the CHO Management Team in achieving the strategic priorities of HSE Dublin North East
* The post holder will be responsible, under the direction of the General Manager or designated officer, for managing the delivery of services, resource allocations and service plan targets, across assigned service or functional areas including monitoring and reporting on targets.
* The role will be to lead and manage the Team and workload in areas assigned and will contribute to the development of the Team as well as support its day-to-day operations.
* The role will evolve as the structures within the CHO are further developed and established.






Essential Criteria




This campaign is confined to staff who are currently employed by the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies*, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 as per Workplace Relations Commission agreement

Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition must possess:

* Significant operational experience working at a senior level in a complex Healthcare Environment.
* Experience of delivering change programmes involving multiple stakeholders or professional groups.
* Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as relevant to this role.
* Demonstrate capacity to achieve results through multi-disciplinary and cross sectoral working.
* Significant experience in team leadership, management, and development.
* Possess an appropriate third level qualification in Health Services Management or other relevant qualification (Qualifications Ireland Level 8 or equivalent) is desirable.

A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

Character

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
