Audit Senior – Asset Management

Department Overview
Our Audit & Assurance practice continues to experience significant growth, and we are now expanding our Asset Management team.
This role offers exposure to diverse dynamic industries including funds, private equity, hedge funds, real-estate, infrastructure, structured finance, and special purpose vehicles (SPVs).
You will collaborate with clients across local markets as well as major international financial centres.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit programme development, and fieldwork.
Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
Supervise junior audit staff, providing direction, support and guidance throughout the audit process.
Review work completed by team members for accuracy and completeness and provide constructive feedback.
Act as a point of contact for clients during audit engagements, addressing their inquiries and providing updates on audit progress.
Ensure audit documentation and reports meet firm standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in training programmes to enhance technical skills and knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
Support the development and mentoring of junior team members through on-the-job training and coaching.
Skills and Attributes
Minimum 3 years' experience required.
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or similar qualification).
Strong technical skills (Irish GAAP, auditing standards, IFRS).
Strong experience in audit engagements.
Worked with a diverse portfolio of clients.
Capable of working on your own initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment.
