Job Description:
As an Office Sales & Administration staff member at Stillorgan Gas and Plumbing, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Customer Interaction over the phone: Assisting customers over the phone, addressing inquiries, providing advice, quotations, and information about our services in a confident and knowledgeable manner.
* Sales Support: Converting enquiries into confirmed jobs, advising customers based on technical understanding, and upselling services where appropriate.
* Payment Processing: Taking and processing payments efficiently and accurately.
* Scheduling and Booking: Coordinating and scheduling jobs for engineers, understanding job requirements, and ensuring smooth and timely service delivery.
* Office Administration: Performing various office administrative tasks, including data entry, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
* Technical & Operational Support: Using job management software, updating job details, assisting with operational tasks such as taxing vans, managing vehicle documentation, and maintaining service and compliance records.
Requirements:
* Fluent in English: Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
* Customer Service & Sales Skills: Confident, professional, and customer-focused, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in scheduling, payments, and administration.
* Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using office software and willing to learn job management and invoicing systems.
* Technical Background (Preferred): Plumbing, gas, trade counter, or construction-related experience is an advantage but not essential.

Comprehensive training will be provided on systems, procedures, and office processes to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in this role.
