Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations at Ballybunion Golf Club. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high quality catering operations and team management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to ensure that our catering services meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Catering Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering events while maintaining a focus on team building and service standards.About UsTruffle Honey is a private chef, golf club catering and wedding catering business in Ireland, founded by husband-and-wife team Mike and Collette Hayes. We provide bespoke dining experiences using the finest local ingredients, with menus tailored to clients' needs for home, club, private events, and weddings. The company emphasizes a personalized, high-quality service, with Mike leading the culinary team and Collette managing the front-of-house operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTo oversee planning and execution of all club events, from initial enquiry to post- event follow upDevelop and implement efficient operational procedures and standards to ensure consistency, quality and safetyCollaborate with the kitchen team to design and price innovative menus that meet customer needsManage financial performance of the property in line with company requirementsEnsure compliance with all health and safety requirementsFoster a positive, collaborative and productive work environment focused on team work and excellenceConduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for staffMonitor and control operational costs, including labour, food and beverage costsProactively identify new sales opportunities and contribute to marketing concepts to help grow the businessRequirementsProven experience is a similar role within the hospitality industryStrong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and P&L managementExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage a vibrant, enthusiastic teamOutstanding communication and customer service skillsFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as requiredWhat we offerA competitive salary and performance based bonus structureOpportunities for professional development and career advancement within a growing multi outlet companyA dynamic and supportive work environmentHow to ApplyPlease submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: €50,000.00 per yearBenefits:Discounted or free foodEmployee discountOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
